PURPOSE:
To adopt a resolution appointing a member to the Board of Adjustment due to a current vacancy of a regular member position.
BACKGROUND:
The City Clerk’s office received one (1) application requesting consideration for appointment as a regular member to the Board of Adjustment. An appointment is necessary to fill a regular member vacancy. Currently the Board of Adjustment has two (2) regular member and two (2) alternate member vacancies.
The Application Review Panel conducted interviews for the Board of Adjustment on March 4, 2024, and recommends that Brian McMahan be appointed as a regular member with a term ending June 30, 2026.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Board, committee, and commission members play a pivotal role in providing guidance and direction on numerous issues that develop our community.
