PURPOSE:
To approve execution of Cooperative Purchase Agreement 500322 for the purchase of audio-visual equipment utilizing Arizona State Contract ADSPO17-184596 in accordance with City Code Section 3.10.010.3(a)(1). This agreement authorizes E1 Audiovisual Technologies to supply, install, and maintain audio-visual equipment at the new Municipal Courthouse.
BACKGROUND:
E1 Audiovisual Technologies is the largest supplier of courts audio-visual systems in the State. They have supplied nearly all audio-visual systems for the state’s municipal courtrooms. Staff is looking to leverage E1 Audiovisual Technologies’ expertise in providing a reliable system that meets the needs of the courts and City Council. E1 Audiovisual Technologies’ scope of work consists of three (3) courtrooms, a jury assembly room, a second-floor assembly room, a lobby intercom, and viewing systems for the judges and courts administrative offices.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
This project allows for adequate audio-visual systems for those attending court and other City meetings.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This project is budgeted in the General Fund. The total cost for this project is $584,776.52.
