PURPOSE:
To approve the purchase and installation of security products under Cooperative Purchase Agreement 500305, through WESCO under the OMNIA Partners Contract No. R192008, Regional 4 Education Service Center, with Stone Security, LLC, an authorized reseller, and in accordance with City Code Section 3.10.010.0(A)(1). Stone Security, LLC, is the chosen authorized reseller responsible for installing cameras, access controllers, and security cabling at the new Municipal Courthouse.
BACKGROUND:
City staff in the Information Technology division, Stone Security, LLC, and the Capital Improvement Plan project team have been working on designing a security system that integrates with the City’s existing security infrastructure. Once completed, it will help provide a safe environment for staff and the community.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Securing the courthouse will provide the community with a safe place to conduct business.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This cost is included in the Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget. The City is utilizing the Cooperative Purchase Agreement 500305 to purchase the products from Stone Security, LLC. The total cost of this project is $186,301.05
