PURPOSE:
Award Bid for the 8-Inch Sewer Force Main Repairs Project in accordance with City Code Section 3.10.040 (Project No. SS3030).
BACKGROUND:
On March 24, 2021, sealed bids were opened for the project and two (2) bids were received in response. The two responsive bidders were:
Premier Backhoe, Inc. - $143,448.99
Tri-Suns Engineering, Inc. - $224,469.00
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The repair of the existing 8-Inch Sewer Main line will allow for continued service and elimination of costly emergency repairs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This project is part of the current and approved Capital Improvement Program. Approved budget is available in the 8-Inch Sewer Force Main Repairs Project in the amount of $150,000.
