PURPOSE:
Adopt a resolution reaffirming the adoption of Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Guidelines dated November 2, 2018, in relation to the Lake Havasu City Housing Program - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).
BACKGROUND:
As a requirement of the submittal of an application for Federal Fiscal Year 2021 CDBG funds, City Council must adopt the Housing Rehabilitation Guidelines for each grant application, even if more than one application is submitted. These guidelines were previously adopted by City Council and have been approved by the Arizona Department of Housing.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The adoption of this resolution publicizes the community’s commitment to extend the life of affordable homes for eligible, owner-occupied, single-family residences, located within the city limits.
