PURPOSE:
To adopt a resolution approving and authorizing the execution by the Police Chief of a Radio Use Agreement with State of Arizona Game and Fish Department.
BACKGROUND:
The State of Arizona Game and Fish Department partners with other law enforcement agencies for the use of regional voter frequencies by officers who are located in remote areas. This agreement authorizes the Game and Fish Department to utilize Lake Havasu City Police Department frequencies for limited and specific intercommunications between the two agencies for mutual aid, public safety, and law enforcement activities.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
This agreement provides safety for Game and Fish officers who are remotely located and integrates assistance in first responder planning.
