PURPOSE:
To abandon the 30-Foot by 255-foot Public Utility Easement and Public Vehicular Ingress/Egress Easement for Tract 2308C, Block 2, Lots 3, 4, B & C, to allow expansion of the existing brewery/restaurant building. There is a separate companion Resolution No. 19-3307 for this item to dedicate a new 44-Foot by 150-Foot Public Ingress/Egress & Utility Easement and a new 11.5-Foot by 120-Foot Public Utility Easement.
BACKGROUND:
The property owner at 1151 Gauge Drive, College Street Brewery, proposes to expand the existing restaurant. As a result of the expansion, a portion of the existing alley must be abandoned. In order to maintain utility services and assure future access to and from the alley, additional dedications are necessary as well. The dedications have been submitted as a separate item.
All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of both the abandonment of the existing alley and these dedications.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
N/A
FISCAL IMPACT:
Improvements to property will likely increase the assessed valuation and the City will receive additional property tax revenue.
