PURPOSE:
To approve a new Ground Lease Agreement with Havasu Fitness.
BACKGROUND:
The current agreement with Havasu Fitness for its use of certain City Hall parking spaces expired and Havasu Fitness wishes to enter into a new agreement. Havasu Fitness’ use of the parking spaces was reevaluated and it was determined that less spaces are necessary to meet the current demands.
The proposed agreement is for five years and identifies 6,600 square feet (approximately 20 parking spaces) for the non-exclusive use by Havasu Fitness for parking overflow.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Providing the lease of City-owned property to relieve parking congestion.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The City will receive $1,170.12 annually.
