PURPOSE:
To accept the dedication of a 20-foot Public Drainage Easement across Parcel A of Tract 2273 connecting to the Jamaica Wash.
BACKGROUND:
Lake Havasu City has existing water storage tanks on Parcel “B” with access from Scout Drive. Current CIP Project WT7440, Booster Station 1C Replacement, requires the installation of a 24” drainage pipe underneath a 20’ wide drainage easement spanning across the adjacent church property from the northwest corner of the tank site into the Jamaica Wash. The project is expected to begin in September of 2018. The church is willing to dedicate an easement to the City to allow for the installation of the proposed drainage pipe. Staff prepared a description for the easement for Council acceptance.
