PURPOSE:
To approve a Services Agreement for victim services with HAVEN Family Resource Center, Inc.
BACKGROUND:
HAVEN Family Resource Center, Inc. has partnered with the Lake Havasu City Police Department to provide victim services since Fiscal Year 2005-06.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
HAVEN Family Resource Center, Inc. is a non-profit agency that partners with the Lake Havasu City Police Department to provide services to victims of crimes against children, domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, and other cases as requested. Services include forensic interviews, forensic exams, counseling and child abuse prevention education.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Appropriation in the amount of $73,274 is included in the Police Department proposed budget for Fiscal Years 2017-18 and 2018-19.

SUGGESTED MOTION:Recommended Action
I move to approve the Services Agreement with HAVEN Family Resource Center, Inc. for victim services for Fiscal Years 2017-18 and 2018-19, and authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.
