PURPOSE:
To abandon a portion of the 20-foot by 125-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement, which runs east and west through Parcel 11-A of Tract 2144, Block 2, per Parcel Plat recorded in Book 30 of Parcel Plats, Page 52.
BACKGROUND:
The property owner requests these abandonments to allow for additional building area.
All outside utilities were notified and no objections were received.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
N/A
FISCAL IMPACT:
Improvements to property will likely increase the assessed valuation and the City will receive additional property tax revenue.

I move to adopt Resolution No. 17-3145 abandoning a portion of the 20-foot by 125-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement, which runs east and west through Parcel 11-A of Tract 2144, Block 2, per Parcel Plat recorded in Book 30 of Parcel Plats, Page 52, as described in the attached Exhibits “A” and “B,” to create additional building area.
