PURPOSE:

Approve Addendum No. 1 to the Reclaimed Water Use Agreement with Havasu Island Golf Course Company, L.L.C. Body

BACKGROUND:

Under the current agreement, the consumption is calculated by deducting metered effluent use from a main meter located at the Island Treatment facility, subtracting the reads from Nautical Estates and the Havasu Marina to determine a final read for Havasu Island Golf Course Company, L.L.C.

The Nautical requested to have a meter installed (at its cost) at their location to eliminate the deduction read process and take reads directly from the newly installed meter.  This agreement identifies that once the meter is installed, the City will use the readings from the newly installed meter.
