PURPOSE:
Adopt a resolution authorizing the adoption of Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Guidelines dated December 30, 2016, in relation to the Lake Havasu City Housing Program.
BACKGROUND:
As a requirement of the submittal of applications for FY2016 and FY2017 Community Development Block (“CDBG”) Funds, City Council must adopt the Housing Rehabilitation Guidelines for each grant application, even if more than one application is submitted. These guidelines have been revised as of December 30, 2016, and have been approved by the Arizona Department of Housing.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The adoption of this resolution publicizes the community’s commitment to extend the life of affordable homes for eligible, owner occupied, single family residences, located within the city limits.
