PURPOSE:
To appoint members to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND:
The City Clerk’s office received three applications requesting consideration for appointment as a regular member to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Two appointments are needed to fill the unexpired terms of two regular members.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Board, committee, and commission members play a pivotal role in providing guidance and direction on numerous issues that develop our community.

SUGGESTED MOTION:Recommended Action
I move to adopt Resolution No. 17-3133 appointing as a regular member to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board with a term to expire June 30, 2017, and __________________as a regular member to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board with a term to expire June 30, 2018.
