PURPOSE:

Recommend to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control approval of a special event liquor license for the Havasu Community Health Foundation Fundraiser.

 

BACKGROUND:

Linda Seaver, applicant for the Havasu Community Health Foundation, has applied for a Special Event Liquor License for a beer garden for a special event to be held at 7206 Dub Campbell Parkway, Lake Havasu City, AZ, on March 18, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Proceeds from this event will go to Havasu Community Health Foundation. All fees have been received, and no objections have been submitted.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

The City supports local events in the community to enhance the quality of life and generate tourism opportunities.

SUGGESTED MOTION:Recommended Action

I move to recommend that the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control approve a Special Event Liquor License and that Council Ratify the City Manger’s designation to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages in SARA Park for the Havasu Health Foundation Fundraiser, on March 18, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 7206 Dub Campbell Parkway.
