Adopt Resolution No. 16-3100 Ratifying Application for Right-of-Way and Payment of Fees and Approving Right-of-Way Agreement No. 18-101258 with the Arizona State Land Department

PURPOSE:
Adopt resolution ratifying the application for renewal of right of way and payment of fees and approving Right of Way Agreement for the location, construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground 12 inch water distribution line.
BACKGROUND:
The application and agreement is to renew a lease of 1.85 acres of Arizona State Land, for an existing 12-inch water distribution main connecting the island and mainland, for 10 years (through January 10, 2026).
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The lease provides necessary land for the access and maintenance of essential water infrastructure.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$91,440 (10 yr) lease fee was paid from Account No. 521-4110-421-4401.
