PURPOSE:
To abandon the Entire 20-Foot by 109-Foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement between Lots 12 & 13, Tract 2302, Block 8.
BACKGROUND:
The City recently sold this parcel to Mr. and Mrs. Hayes who own one of the adjacent residential lots. They petitioned the City to purchase the property to allow for the construction of an RV garage and needed additional area. They were the successful bidder in the sale of the property. The entire parcel is an easement, which needs to be abandoned prior to any construction.
All outside utilities were notified and no objections were received.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
N/A
FISCAL IMPACT:
Improvements to the property will increase the assessed valuation. The City will receive additional property tax revenue.
