PURPOSE:
Award Agreement for Construction Management Services for King’s View Seawall Repair in accordance with City Code Section 3.10.040.2.
BACKGROUND:
The contract for construction of the King’s View Seawall Repair was awarded at the September 27, 2016, council meeting. The award of this Agreement will provide for the Construction Management of said project, to include inspection, reporting, progress meetings, etc.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
This project will remove and replace a failing portion of the seawall along the Bridgewater Channel in front of the King’s View Condominiums. Completion of the repair is crucial to the protection of the walking path, critical water and sewer infrastructure, and prevents the shoreline from further erosion.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Appropriations are available for the contract amount of $59,677.00 in Project CI1000.
