PURPOSE:

To adopt a resolution abandoning the entire 10-foot by 100.14-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement along the southeasterly property line of Tract 136, Block 7, Lot 31.

 

BACKGROUND:

Property owner requests abandonment to allow additional building area.

 

All outside utilities were notified and no objections were received.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

N/A

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Improvements to the property will increase the assessed valuation.  The City will receive additional property tax revenue.

SUGGESTED MOTION:Recommended Action

I move to adopt Resolution No. 16-3095 abandoning the entire 10-foot by 100.14-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement along the southeasterly property line of Tract 136, Block 7, Lot 31, as described in the attached Exhibits “A” & “B” to create additional building area.
