PURPOSE:
To approve a final plat of Tract 2374 including 18 residential lots and public right-of-way.
BACKGROUND:
In August of 2006, Council approved final subdivision plats 2372-2374 associated with Phase I of Havasu Foothills Estates. One of the approved plats, Tract 2374, was never completed or recorded at that time. The plat included 18 residential lots, Avienda Del Sol right-of-way, a 5.55 acre commercial parcel, a 120-foot right-of-way for the Foothills Parkway, and a 1,750 foot extension of Cherry Tree Boulevard as depicted in Attachment #1. The developer requested the elimination of the Foothills Parkway as part of a Planned Development amendment for Phase II. Further, the request includes changes to the commercial property at the corner of Cherry Tree and the Parkway and the platting of the Cherry Tree right-of-way extension. The new commercial parcel and the Cherry Tree extension will be a part of Phase II. The Parkway elimination will allow for lot reconfigurations to be modified in Phase II.
