PURPOSE:
Recommend to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control approval of a special event liquor license for the Lake Havasu Firefighters Charities Fundraiser.
BACKGROUND:
Johnathan Scott Jacobs, applicant for the Lake Havasu Firefighters Charities, has applied for a Special Event Liquor License for one beer garden for a special event to be held at 1340 McCulloch Boulevard, Lake Havasu, AZ, on October 7, 14, 21, & 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Proceeds from this event will go to the Lake Havasu Firefighters Charities. All fees have been received, and no objections have been submitted.

The City supports local events in the community to enhance the quality of life and generate tourism opportunities.

I move to recommend that the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control approve a Special Event Liquor License and that Council ratify the City Manager’s designation to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages in London Bridge Beach for the Lake Havasu Firefighters Charities Fundraiser Event, on October 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2016 at 1340 McCulloch Boulevard.
