PURPOSE:
Recommend to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control approval of a special event liquor license for the IJSBA World Finals.
BACKGROUND:
Bruce Allen Howe, applicant for the Lake Havasu Lighthouse Club, has applied for a Special Event Liquor License for a beer garden for a special event to be held at 1534 Beachcomber Boulevard, Lake Havasu City, AZ, on October 6, 7, 8 & 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Proceeds from this event will go to the Lake Havasu Lighthouse Club and DSM Events, LLC. All fees have been received, and no objections have been submitted.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The City supports local events in the community to enhance the quality of life and generate tourism opportunities.
