PURPOSE:
To make a recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control regarding a Series #12 Restaurant Liquor License application for Dos Amigos Tacos.
BACKGROUND:
Harriet Margaret McLearen has applied for a Series #12 restaurant liquor license for Dos Amigos Tacos, 2231 McCulloch. All posting requirements have been met, all fees have been paid, and no objections were received during the 20-day public comment period. The location is properly zoned for a Series #12 liquor license.
Series #12 Restaurant Liquor License - This non-transferable, on-sale retail privileges liquor license allows the holder of a restaurant license to sell and serve all types of spiritous liquor solely for consumption on the premises of an establishment which derives at least forty percent (40%) of its gross revenue from the sale of food.
This application was reviewed internally with the following comments:

No objections. No outstanding violations or issues with this property. Permitted use in the MU-UMS/PD District. Property is located within the Entertainment District.

Staff recommends approval of this liquor license. Upon City Council’s recommendation, this application will be forwarded to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for final processing.
