PURPOSE:
The following liquor license is scheduled to be heard by City Council for recommended approval.
BACKGROUND:
Diana Butler, applicant for Havasu for Youth, has applied for a Special Event Liquor License for one bar setup for a special event to be held at Ultra Star Cinema, 5601 Highway 95, Lake Havasu City, AZ, on March 2, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Proceeds from this event will go to Havasu for Youth. All fees have been received, and no objections have been submitted.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The City supports local events in the community to enhance the quality of life and generate tourism opportunities.

I move to recommend that the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control approve a Special Event Liquor License for the Havasu for Youth Fundraiser, on March 2, 2014 form 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Ultra Star Cinema, 5601 Highway 95.
