PURPOSE:
To consider the award of a bid for the Courthouse Covered Parking Project (500663) to Seasa & Parks Construction, LLC, in accordance with City Code §§ 3.10.010.2 (A.R.S. Title 34) and 3.10.030.1.
BACKGROUND:
The Lake Havasu City Municipal Court requested the Public Works Department evaluate the feasibility of adding covered parking to the Courthouse parking lot. After reviewing the site, the Public Works Department identified three (3) potential locations where covered structures could be installed. These additions would not alter the existing layout of the parking lot. If implemented, the proposed structures would provide covered parking for a total of 19 vehicles.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
This project will enhance the functionality of the Municipal Court’s parking lot by providing shelter and protection from the region’s harsh desert climate.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Court Enhancement Funds have been proposed in the Fiscal Year 2026-30 Capital Improvement Plan with funds allocated and available in Fiscal Year 2025-26.
