PURPOSE:

To consider adoption of a resolution abandoning the northeasterly 20 feet of the existing 10-foot-wide public utility and drainage easement on the southeasterly property line at 601 Aquamarine Drive, Tract 2219, Block 21, Lot 1.  

 

BACKGROUND:

The property owner of 601 Aquamarine Drive is requesting to remove a portion of the Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the southeasterly property boundary as shown on the attached Exhibits to create additional developable lot area. All outside utilities and the City Public Works Department participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

N/A

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Improvements to the property may increase the assessed valuation, and the City may receive additional property tax revenue
