PURPOSE:
To consider adopting a resolution approving the revision of Exhibit C for the Mainstream Water diversion points under the water delivery contract between Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) and Lake Havasu City.
BACKGROUND:
Staff from BOR and Lake Havasu City reviewed existing diversion points for mainstream water from the Colorado River Basin. During this administrative review it was determined that previously identified diversion points were no longer in use and that Wells 22 and 23 needed to be added to the agreement. This revised exhibit reflects the current operations.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Proper accounting of water resources is vital to the health of the City and its citizens by protecting this valuable natural resource.
