PURPOSE:

To consider adopting a resolution abandoning the easterly 3-feet of the existing 8-foot by 134-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the westerly property line of Tract 2302, Block 5, Lot 21, excluding the rear most 10-feet. 

 

BACKGROUND:

The property owner of 1980 Chip Drive is requesting to remove a portion of the Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the westerly property line to create additional developable lot area.

 

All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

N/A

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Improvements to the property may increase the assessed valuation, and the City may receive additional property tax revenue.
