PURPOSE:

To consider adopting a resolution abandoning the southeasterly 5-foot by 25.5-foot portion of the existing 10-foot by 50-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the southwesterly property line of Tract 2238, Block 10, Lot 10. 

 

BACKGROUND:

The property owner of 3285 Palm Grove Drive is proposing to remove a portion of the Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the southwesterly property line to create additional developable lot area.

 

All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

N/A

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Improvements to the property may increase the assessed valuation, and the City may receive additional property tax revenue.
