PURPOSE:
To consider approval of Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with H.A.V.E.N. Family Resource Center, Inc., for Domestic Violence Response / Victim Assistance, Contract No. P24-PD-500348 (Oracle Contract 500348), in accordance with City Code §3.10.020.6(B)(2) for an additional one-year term.
BACKGROUND:
Following a Request for Proposal process, this Professional Services Agreement was entered into with H.A.V.E.N. Family Resource Center, Inc., in July 2023 for a two (2) year term, with a maximum of three (3) additional 12-month periods, as agreeable to both parties. H.A.V.E.N. Family Resource Center, Inc., has reviewed the Amendment No. 2 and is not requesting any additional revisions to the terms. H.A.V.E.N. Family Resource Center, Inc., has partnered with the Lake Havasu City Police Department to provide victim services since Fiscal Year (FY) 2005-06.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
H.A.V.E.N. Family Resource Center, Inc., is a non-profit agency that partners with the Lake Havasu City Police Department to provide services to victims of crimes against children, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other cases as requested. Services include forensic interviews, sexual assault medical forensic exams, crisis counseling and other services that provide tangible support to victims.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds in the amount of $100,000 are allocated and available in the Police Department proposed FY 2026-27 budget.

I move to approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with H.A.V.E.N. Family Resource Center, Inc., for an additional one-year term.
I move to not approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with H.A.V.E.N. Family Resource Center, Inc., for an additional one-year term.
