PURPOSE:
To consider approving Amendment No. 1 to Engineering/Architectural Consultant Master Professional Services Agreement (MPSA) 500225, renewing the Agreement for the first of two additional one-year terms.
BACKGROUND:
The MPSA for Engineering and Architectural Services for the Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport with C&S Engineers, Inc., was entered into on May 11, 2022, following an advertised Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) request, evaluation and selection process. The MPSA provides ‘on-call’ Engineering and Architectural services to assist the City in designing, developing, and accomplishing various on-going airport improvement projects in accordance with the Airport Master Plan and the needs of the City’s Airport. The initial MPSA term is for three (3) years, with the option to renew for two (2), additional one (1) year periods at the City’s option. This first renewal will extend the Agreement term until May 11, 2026.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport is a vital economic and transportation hub in our community. It plays a significant role in the local economy as well as bringing in many work-related visitors (military and civilian training).
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available through FAA/ADOT Grant funding and the Airport Fund for approved Airport Improvement Program and Capital Improvement Program projects.
