Action: Resolution No. 25-3830 Abandonment of the Westerly 5-Feet of the Existing 10-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the Easterly Property Line of 2565 Caribbean Drive, Tract 147, Block 2, Lot 30 (Trevor Kearns)

PURPOSE:

To consider adopting a resolution abandoning the westerly 5-feet of the existing 10-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the easterly property line of Tract 147, Block 2, Lot 30, excluding the rear most 10-feet. 

 

BACKGROUND:

The property owner of 2565 Caribbean Drive is proposing to remove the Public Utility and Drainage Easement along the easterly property line to create additional developable lot area.

 

All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

N/A

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Improvements to the property will likely increase the assessed valuation which may result in the City receiving additional property tax revenue.

I move to adopt Resolution No. 25-3830 abandoning the westerly 5-feet of the existing 10-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement along the easterly property line of Tract 147, Block 2, Lot 30.
