PURPOSE:
To consider adopting a resolution abandoning the westerly 2-feet of the existing 10-foot wide Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the easterly property line of Tract 142C, Block 5, Lot 20, excluding the southerly most 10-feet.
BACKGROUND:
The property owner of 284 Mulberry Avenue is requesting to remove a portion of the Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the westerly property line to create additional developable lot area.
All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
N/A
FISCAL IMPACT:
Improvements to the property may increase the assessed valuation, and the City may receive additional property tax revenue.
