PURPOSE:

To consider adopting a resolution abandoning an easterly 3-foot portion of the existing 8-foot by 173-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the westerly property line of Tract 2302, Block 1, Lot 16. 

 

BACKGROUND:

The property owner of 2001 Spruce Drive is proposing to remove a portion of the Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the southwesterly property line to create additional developable lot area.

 

All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

N/A

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Improvements to the property may increase the assessed valuation, and the City may receive additional property tax revenue.
