PURPOSE:

To consider adopting a resolution abandoning the entire 8-foot-wide public utility easement beginning at the northern most point-of-tangency of lot 19 along the northerly right-of-way of Lake Shore Way to the common rear property corner of lots 17 and 18 along said right-of-way of Lake Shore Way, Tract 2399, Lots 18 and 19

 

BACKGROUND:

The property owner of 2270 Harbor Way is requesting to remove a portion of the Public Utility Easement on the southerly property line to create additional developable lot area.

 

All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

N/A

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Improvements to the property may increase the assessed valuation, and the City may receive additional property tax revenue.

I move to adopt Resolution No. 26-3943 abandoning the entire 8-foot-wide public utility easement beginning at the northern most point-of-tangency of lot 19 along the northerly right-of-way of Lake Shore Way to the common rear property corner of lots 17 and 18 along said right-of-way of Lake Shore Way, 2270 Harbor Way, Tract 2399, Lots 18 and 19
