PURPOSE:
To consider adopting a resolution appointing a member to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board due to the vacancy of one (1) regular member position.
BACKGROUND:
The City Clerk’s office received two (2) applications requesting consideration for appointment as a regular member to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. An appointment is necessary to fill the current vacancy of one (1) regular member position.
The Application Review Panel conducted interviews for the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board on April 29, 2026, and recommends that Jason Usry be appointed to fill the regular member vacancy with a term ending June 30, 2028.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Board, committee, and commission members play a pivotal role in providing guidance and direction on numerous issues that develop our community.
