PURPOSE:
To consider a lease agreement for office space at 145 North Lake Havasu Avenue (Fire Station No. 5).
BACKGROUND:
Since at least 2001, United Way has leased approximately 2,050 square feet of office space within Fire Station No. 5 located at 145 North Lake Havasu Avenue. The current lease agreement expires on June 30, 2026, and United Way expressed interest in entering into a new lease to continue its use of this space. This proposed Agreement is for another five-year term commencing on July 1, 2026, and expiring on June 30, 2031, and includes approximately 2,050 square feet of office space.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Supporting beneficial community services.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Monthly lease payment of $512.50 will generate General Fund revenue.
