PURPOSE:
To consider adopting a resolution appointing a student member to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board due to a current vacancy of a student member position.
BACKGROUND:
The City Clerk’s Office received one (1) application requesting consideration for appointment as a student member to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. An appointment is necessary to fill the current vacancy of one (1) student member position.
The Application Review Panel conducted interviews for the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board on October 14, 2026, and recommends that Taylor Skelton be appointed as a student member with a term ending June 30, 2028.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Board, committee, and commission members play a pivotal role in providing guidance and direction on numerous issues that develop our community.
