PURPOSE:

To consider adopting a resolution abandoning the northerly 5-feet of the existing 10-foot wide Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the southerly property line of Tract 2280, Block 14, Lot 36. 

 

BACKGROUND:

The property owner of 3733 Sloop Drive is requesting to remove a portion of the Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the southerly property line to create additional developable lot area.

 

All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.

 

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

N/A

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Improvements to the property may increase the assessed valuation, and the City may receive additional property tax revenue.
