PURPOSE:

To consider a Development Agreement for Rancho Buena Vista Subdivision with Jarbon, LLC, regarding private roadways and drainage for the development. 

 

BACKGROUND:

The property known as Rancho Buena Vista Subdivision is located at 3651 Buena Vista Avenue, includes approximately 5.35 acres, and is zoned (R-1) Residential Single Family. The site consists of 11 residential lots and Parcels A and B. The development will be served with public wastewater, public water, private roadways and private drainage.

 

Because the development will be served by private roadways and drainage, the developer must enter into a development agreement to address responsibilities associated with the installation and maintenance of these facilities. The Development Agreement includes the developer’s responsibilities to install and maintain the private roadways and drainage.

 

The developer will forego financial assurance for the installation of public improvements, choosing instead to complete all required improvements prior to final plat approval. Upon satisfactory installation, subsequent acceptance by the City and approval of this development agreement, the plat will be signed and recorded.

 

The Development Agreement is provided as an attachment.
