PURPOSE:
To approve the First Amendment Base Station Agreement with Havasu Regional Medical Center.
BACKGROUND:
Havasu Regional Medical Center implemented a new credentialing process for EMS contractors that have access to an ALS or BLS Drug box or door access key card. The Agreement was amended to add a subsection 1.8.1 to address the requirement. As an EMS contractor, Lake Havasu City reviewed the language in the amendment and will comply with the credentialing requirements set forth in the amendment.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
The Agreement allows the Fire Department to continue a positive partnership and comply with requirements amended in the base station agreement with HRMC.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No funding is required; credentialing requirements are completed during pre-employment medical assessment and annual fire department physical.
