PURPOSE:
To make a recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses & Control regarding a Series #12 Restaurant Liquor License application for Rotary Kitchen & Bar.
BACKGROUND:
Travis Christopher Francis has applied for a Series #12 restaurant liquor license for Rotary Kitchen & Bar, 3465 Maricopa Avenue. All posting requirements have been met, all fees have been paid, and no objections were received during the 20-day public comment period. The location is properly zoned for a Series #12 liquor license.
Series #12 Restaurant Liquor License - This non-transferable, on-sale retail privileges liquor license allows the holder of a restaurant license to sell and serve all types of spiritous liquor solely for consumption on the premises of an establishment which derives at least forty percent (40%) of its gross revenue from the sale of food.
This application was reviewed internally with the following comments:

No objections. No outstanding violations or issues with this property. Permitted use in the Commercial-Southgate District (C-SGD).

Staff recommends approval of this liquor license. Upon City Council’s recommendation, this application will be forwarded to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for final processing.
