PURPOSE:

To consider the approval of Access Easement Agreements for a non-exclusive easement for pedestrian and vehicular ingress and egress over Residences & London Bridge Resort properties (Lots 1&2) located immediately adjacent to the Lake Havasu Bridgewater Channel seawall.

 

BACKGROUND:

Lots 1 and 2 are privately owned and extend inland from the existing seawall along the Lake Havasu Bridgewater Channel. As a result, there has been no guarantee of public pedestrian access between the Channel boardwalk entrance and the London Bridge. The proposed Access Easement Agreements will secure pedestrian and vehicular ingress and egress along the Lake Havasu Bridgewater Channel. Vehicular access is restricted to the City and its authorized agents solely for emergency response and maintenance purposes.

COMMUNITY IMPACT:

This easement secures pedestrian public access along the Lake Havasu Bridgewater Channel.
