PURPOSE:
To make a recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control regarding a Series #7 Beer and Wine Bar Liquor License application for Amigos Birria Tacos Havasu.
BACKGROUND:
Keith Brian Turner has applied for a Series #7 Beer and Wine Bar Liquor License for Amigos Birria Tacos Havasu, 55 Lake Havasu Avenue N. All posting requirements have been met, all fees have been paid, and no protest or support letters were received during the 20-day public comment period. The location is properly zoned for a Series #7 liquor license.
Series #7 Beer and Wine Bar - This license is transferable from person to person and/or location to location within the same county and allows the holder both on- and off-sale retail privileges. This license allows a beer and wine bar retailer to sell and serve beer and wine (no other spirituous liquors), primarily by individual portions, to be consumed on the premises and in the original container for consumption on or off the premises. A retailer with off-sale privileges may deliver spirituous liquor off the licensed premises in connection with a retail sale.
This application was reviewed internally with the following comments:
