PURPOSE:
To abandon the northwesterly 5-foot by 27.33-foot portion of a 10-foot by 50-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement along the southerly property line of Tract 2258, Block 28, Lot 3, to allow for a proposed detached accessory structure.
BACKGROUND:
Betty Snowie, property owner, requested the abandonment of the northwesterly 5-foot by 27.33-foot portion of a 10-foot by 50-foot Public Utility and Drainage Easement along the southerly property line of Tract 2258, Block 28, Lot 3, as described in the attached Exhibit "A" for the purpose of accommodating a proposed structure on the property.
All outside utilities were notified and had no objections to the proposed abandonment.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
N/A
FISCAL IMPACT:
Improvements to the property will increase the assessed valuation. The City will receive additional property tax revenue.
