Body
FUNDING SOURCE:
Water Fund
PURPOSE:
To consider adopting a resolution approving the right of way agreement with Arizona State Land Department for a service road to a future booster station site off Bison Boulevard.
BACKGROUND:
Using the water model that is part of the Water Master Plan (2025), staff has determined there is a possible need for additional water system infrastructure within pressure zones 6 and 7. The site identified as the location for this infrastructure requires a right of way agreement through State Lands to access the property. This agreement allows the City to access this site.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Planning for future water system needs allows for possible growth and potential operational needs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost of the 10-year agreement is $1,200. Funds are allocated and available in the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Water Utility Fund.
