PURPOSE:
Approve amendment to extend Janitorial Services Contract for Various Facilities on a Requirements Basis in accordance with City Code ยง 3.10.020.12.
BACKGROUND:
Lake Havasu City contracts out a significant portion of its janitorial services for the above-mentioned facilities. This contract does not cover the Police Station or City Parks Facilities.
The original contract was awarded on August 12, 2014, and this is the first of two possible 12-month extensions. Contact with all building customer coordinators was made and service has been deemed acceptable.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Contracting service for janitorial duties for the majority of the city facilities is the most cost effective method.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The various City budgets have the appropriate funding in their areas of activity for this function.
