PURPOSE:
To consider adopting a resolution abandoning the southwesterly 20-feet of the existing 10-foot wide Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the northwesterly property line, excluding the rear most 30-feet, and abandon the southwesterly 5-feet of the existing 10-foot wide Public Utility and Drainage Easement along the northeasterly property line, excluding the northwest most 30-feet of Tract 2215, Block 13, Lot 1.
BACKGROUND:
The property owner of 3291 Simitan Drive is requesting to remove a portion of the Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the northeasterly property line to create additional developable lot area.
All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
N/A
FISCAL IMPACT:
Improvements to the property may increase the assessed valuation, and the City may receive additional property tax revenue.
