PURPOSE:
This item is for the approval of grant funding to Havasu for Youth for Fiscal Year 2014-15.
BACKGROUND:
As part of the FY 2014-15 Budget discussions City Council directed City Staff to include $20,000 in grant funding for Havasu for Youth's programs, excluding its Fusion Program.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
Havasu for Youth assists in achieving the goals of better serving at-risk youth through a common cooperative approach. This funding will increase the number of community youth served.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds in the amount of $20,000 have been included in the FY 2014-15 Tentative Budget.
