PURPOSE:
To consider adoption of a resolution abandoning the northwesterly 8-feet of the existing 10-foot-wide Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the southeasterly property line of Tract 136, Block 5, Lot 29.
BACKGROUND:
The property owner of 2140 Eagle Drive is proposing to remove a portion of the Public Utility and Drainage Easement on the northwesterly property line to create additional developable lot area.
All outside utilities participated in the review and approval of the abandonment of the existing easement.
COMMUNITY IMPACT:
N/A
FISCAL IMPACT:
Improvements to the property will likely increase the assessed valuation, and the City will receive additional property tax revenue.
